Rayne Parish CouncilCITIZENSHIP AWARDS Each Year the Parish Council presents Citizenship Awards to villagers who have made a major contribution to the village or village life. For this year the Parish Council is delighted to present awards to the
following. Awards for 2008 Geoff Stone, In recognition of his contribution to Rayne Village website, Mike Shaw, In recognition of his contribution as editor of Rayne in Focus Parish Magazine Ray Peake, In recognition for his contribution to maintaining the village environment David McGregor for voluntary maintenance of the village green. Geoff Stone has worked hard for a number of years building and maintaining the Village Website which played a major part in Rayne winning Calor Village of the Year ICT category. Anyone who passes the village green cannot but fail to notice the immaculate condition of this area which is meticulously maintained by David McGregor. Mike Shaw has edited the Village Magazine for many years and kept up a high standard of presentation. PREVIOUS AWARDS.
